PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Our classroom day begins at 9:00 am and at 1:00 pm; it is important for children to arrive on time. An adult must escort all children to their classroom. State law requires that your child be signed in; please allow enough time to do so before leaving the premises.

Dress your child in comfortable, washable play clothes for both indoor and outdoor play. We ask that you mark your child’s name on their clothing; lost sweaters and jackets are an expense we want to avoid.

If your child is sick, please keep him/her home and notify the school as to the nature of the illness. If your child becomes sick after coming to school you will be notified and asked to come pick up your child.

Tuition is due by the tenth of each month. Other fees that may come due during the school year are registration/insurance and material fee, missed participating days and lunch fees.

We have two work parties per school year, the purpose of which is to renew school classrooms, grounds and equipment. One member from each family is required to attend at least one of these work parties each year or pay a fee.

We have bimonthly parent meetings and/or events such as parenting workshops, ice cream socials, and potlucks.
